Going for a hike in the woods during the fall season is always exciting, as you never know what colors, shades and landscapes await. In a relatively short time of the year, things in nature are changing quite quickly, painting scenes of beautiful color, from residuals of green to yellow, orange, red, gold or copper tones to the most fiery of leaves. This is the season when nature changes, showing off it's beautiful pallet, on it's trees, but also on the ground with it's rug of fallen leaves, big and small or all crawled up in different shapes.
I took this photo on a warm sunny autumn day, while taking a walk on a forest trail near my hometown.
