Love it.
This photograph was taken along the side of a road as I tried to make it home before the sun went down. It was the last photograph I took after spending an entire afternoon walking in the woods on state land (and getting lost). I was trucking back as fast as I could trying to make it back before dark. You can see how close I came before the sun was down. Usually when the sun is into the trees half way down it takes fifteen minutes or so for it to begin its sink on the horizon.

I have a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a masters degree in Art Education. I used to be an art teacher and taught grades K - 12. In order to teach art in the public schools, I needed to learn a lot of mediums. I have carried this into my art studio as well, painting in one area of the studio and making altered digital photographs in another part of the studio.
